5 Things Every Taurus Baby Wants From Santa Baby For Christmas

We are Earth signs, we love our friends and family, nature, and if we're being honest, money. KIDDING!

I can't speak on the behalf of all Taureans, but I can tell you some things we all have in common which would help make the perfect gift ideas.

1. We are known for our love of luxury, but that doesn't necessarily mean expensive things.

Taurus' may have "expensive taste", but your gifts to them don't need to be over the top. They just need to be thoughtful. Knowing you picked a gift that you put a lot of thought into that resonates with who they are as a person is what they would consider a luxurious gift. For example, you can't go wrong with chocolate.

2. We are naturally out door-sy people.

Most Taurus' love being outside and connected to nature. For me, that means running, a lot. But to other Taureans, that could be hiking, biking, swimming, or other sports. A good gift idea could be planning a trip, buying them new sports gear, or a Go-Pro to capture all their adventures.

3. With that being said...

It is a known fact that most Taurus' are extremely low maintenance, meaning our showers are short, we don't wash our hair as much as we should, and we spend most of our time in sweats. So, you're totally not offending them if you get them dry-shampoo, lotion, spa set, or a gift card to get their nails done. Trust me, they will love you for it.

4. We love to be cozy!

Taurus' tend to be slightly more introverted and shy, which is why their idea of a perfect night is on the couch with a good book or movie with a cup of tea or ice cream. What better gift than a new set of comfy pj's or a big fluffy blanket to wrap around themselves during their "me time"?

5. Lastly, memories > materials.

A great gift idea could be surprising them with tickets to a concert, a play, or a show! This would mean a lot to the Taurus in your life who wants nothing more than to enjoy their time with you and make awesome memories.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
