It is that time of year where we watch countless Christmas movies. Mostly everyone (including me) watches "Elf". For those who have not seen "Elf", the whole storyline is about Buddy, who when he was a baby, stayed in an orphanage and accidentally goes into Santa's sack and ends up in the North Pole, where he is raised by elves.
Later, Santa gives him the opportunity to go to New York to find his birth father named Walter Hobbs. Walter Hobbs (who is on Santa's naughty list) had no idea that Buddy was even born. Throughout the movie, Buddy experiences the delights of New York City (and human culture) as only an elf can, as well as him bringing back Christmas spirit in New York City.
Therefore, here are the reasons why "Elf" will always be the best Christmas movie:
1. Buddy is always so positive.
Just pure magic.
2. Buddy's songs are masterpieces.
Very quotable for any picture you want to post on social media!
3. This was the funniest line in the movie and you still are not sure why.
4. You still scream every time someone says that Santa is coming to town.
5. Buddy did the thing that every one of us wanted to do as a child (or even now).
6. This scene comes to mind when you see a sign that claims the "world's best ____________".
You resist the urge to run in and scream praise at them.
7. It taught us all the "real" four major food groups.
8. It taught us the best phone etiquette.
9. Also the best escalator technique.
10. Every time you watch this scene, you wonder how it actually tastes like.
11. You fully identify this fear as a child.
12. Lastly, it taught us the most important Christmas lesson there is.
"The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear."
