In a complicated world, there are times when we are afraid to show our true emotions over things that get to us. We end up debating if it's okay to feel when it was never wrong to in the first place. This debate can be caused by doubt, and those people who can get into your head and drive you crazy and you can never understand why.
The reason that this doubt happens within us is because we encounter people who supposedly are never affected by anything. This mindset gets into our heads and we become crazy because of it. It happens subliminally and we can become brainwashed by it. Anyone who is intentionally hiding their feelings with this "unaffected" self-concept is most likely the opposite.
How do I know this? Well, if I'm human and have emotions and you're also human, you have feelings. It's part of existing. Social media plays a weird role in this because you can depict yourself however you want to appear, even with the possibility of external judgment. Even so, your perception and perspective are most important because how you feel about yourself influences how you make yourself appear. Greatness comes from the inside out.
I know I'm all over the place here, but my point is that you shouldn't let people who don't affect you influence how you live your life. Don't let people who don't know you control you. You are in power of your own life. You have insanely valid feelings and there's no reason to feel differently.
Wasting all these thoughts on these people doesn't get you anywhere. Use your feelings on what benefits you and those who care about you as well. So, to all these people who mess with minds, drop the act, because we all have feelings here.
