Register to vote! This is one of the first steps to being involved in YOUR government that creates YOUR laws. Make your voice heard, and be civically engaged year-round! The process is super quick, and if you get it done now, you won't have to worry about it when election time comes.

To register, you must

1. Be 18 years old before the next election.

2. Be a US citizen.

3. not be a felon.

And, no, you don't have to wait four years to vote in another election. If you are 18 by April 4,2017, you can vote in the municipal elections for 2017. If you turn 18 afterward, you can still register, and you will be able to vote in the mid-term elections in 2018.
