Companionship is defined as "a feeling of fellowship or friendship." I believe it is something that human beings must have in order to be human. It is overly important that in life people are meant to be surrounded by people, by companionship. And at least in my life, I was lucky to always be surrounded by great friendship.

However, no matter how many friends or people I had around me, nothing compares to the companionship of a dog. My dogs are my best friend. I mean that too. The companionship of a dog feels like it is every least.

See I believe my dogs can be therapeutic. Just relaxing and sitting with my dogs means so much. And boy, dogs can be such good listeners. Because you do not always need someone to talk to. You just need someone to listen. And to me, they are the best listener. I can talk to them about everything and anything. They have helped me through breakups, lost friends, everything. And the best thing is, whatever I say is in complete confidence. And as crazy as it sounds, just talking to them can give me some clarity and answers.

Dogs also, to me, can help spread the feeling of love. Even though, we show our dogs we love them through petting them. They show us how much they love us in many different ways. They lay and cuddle with us. And they play with us. They can even entertain us sometimes.

Any time I feel down, I know when I see my dogs I will feel a little better. Dogs are a ball of energy that can lighten up any bad day. Sometimes I catch myself imagining my house without the dogs. And honestly I can not picture the house without them. I really value the companionship of dogs. And I truly believe that I will always have a dog in my life. Even when I am older, I will make sure my kids know how important dogs are in someone's life.

If you ever get the opportunity to adopt a dog, absolutely take it. It is life changing. Knowing that you can save this little puppies life and make it life 10 times better. All dogs wants is to feel loved. They cants speak, but boy they will love you back. And you will feel it.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
