Candy ramen? Yum!

A while ago I saw a BuzzFeed video about candy you make yourself that looks like ramen, and I was shook. I knew I wanted to get it for my ramen-loving girlfriend and I. I went to Amazon and it turns out there are more candy kits than just the ramen! Kracie Popin Cookin has everything from ramen to donuts to hamburgers! They're extremely cheap off of Amazon, but they take a hot minute to ship. I think it's worth it, though. I ordered the ramen and shushi ones, and here's the adventure:

First stop, ramen town!

We had to look up English instructions online, but they're really easy to understand. We made the dumplings first, and it was a mess. It's really sticky and hard to work with, but it looked really cute after we got it right on our billionth try. After that, the steps are pretty simple! You get to make the soup, which is cola flavored, and squeeze the noodles through a little bag. They even have things to make an egg for decoration! One simple word of advice though: this is candy not meant for eating. You can try it, but it's not too good.

Operation ramen noodle was a success!

Next we made sushi!

This one was super fun, and I even liked it better than the ramen! There were 3 different types of sushi to make! Being the competitive couple we are, my girlfriend and I spent the whole time trying to make ours better than the other. This one was pretty simple. The only kinda frustrating part was shaping the "rice." The rest was a breeze! In the end, we had five pieces of slightly strange (but cute in their own way) candy sushi!

These also did not taste too great. The texture is nothing but the sound of a squish if that makes sense. But whatever. They're cute, and that's all that matters.

Overall, we had a blast making these, and I'm definitely gonna get more! I definitely recommend getting these for a cute little day full of candy and fun!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
