I was one of those kids that watched Disney movies all the time. Actually, there were a few that I watched over and over again. Whether it was a classic Disney movie or if it was the Disney Channel Original movies I watched them all.

Dude, I would get so excited when the Disney channel original movies would come on and sometimes I would have a viewing party lol. Needless to say, I love Disney movies and I always will.

1. Lion King

Hakuna Matata It means no worries. Granted I still cry when Mufasa dies and I still sing all the songs.

2. High School Musical

High School musical is the first movie series that I was obsessed with. I still love it and somehow I still remember all the songs and all the dances.

3. Aladdin

"You ain't ever had a friend like me" wise words from the Genie himself.

4. Mulan

"Let's get down to business"

5. Halloweentown

Halloweentown was my jam especially when it hit October.

6. The Lizzie Maguire Movie

When Lizzie started singing her heart out, I would too.

7. One Hundred and One Dalmatians

Shoutout to Pongo and Purdy for being great parents. I would always get so mad at Cruella de Vil and I'm pretty sure that my love for Dalmatians came from this movie.

8. Lady and the Tramp

A classic tale of two dogs and their love for spaghetti

9. Tangled

I had to add this one because I used to be obsessed with it

10. Cheetah Girls

Last but certainly not least, this movie is one of the best Disney Channel Original movies. They go all around the world with this one.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
