When you type in Disney World on Google, one of the first things that pop up are "A place for all ages". So why are so many of us ashamed to be so obsessed with Mickey and Minnie past elementary school? Even if you deny it to people that you love Disney, we all know you go home from a long day at work and pop in a classic Disney Movie (my favorite one being Peter Pan), to escape reality for a little bit. Here's why Disney is for all ages, no matter what the kids tell you.

**I kept a count of how many Disney Songs came on shuffle while writing this article: 11

It's Diverse. In this day and age, all we talk about is "being diverse". In college, it's an everyday question: "How can we be more diverse?" Here's your answer: Go to Epcot. Experience the world showcase. Stay for the bomb-ass fireworks that will take your breath away. A lot of times, students come from all over the world to participate in things like the Disney College program, and just to go to the parks in general. More often than not, if you're in Epcot, in a specific country, the person who is your server or the person working at the checkout counter is probably from the "country" you're in. Whenever we go on family vacations there, my mom makes sure to talk to all the people not from America that are working in Disney World. It's a more cultural enriching experience than one would think from the pictures and the magic and the parades they have daily. (Also check out those Hidden Mickey's literally everywhere).

They know how to feed you. The last time my family went, we got a meal plan. To say we never went hungry is an understatement. We had breakfast, lunch, dinner & snacks. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. On top of all that, the food was delicious. We never complained. It was amazing. I would highly recommend eating in Canada or Japan if you want top notch food that will fill you up for your full day of walking around.

The Technology's Insane. Yes, other theme parks are cool, but have you ever been on the Toy Story Mania ride? (just to name one of my favorites) It's a mini carnival that involves all of the characters from Toy Story. It's absolutely insane. It always has a line. And it's always worth it. My mom doesn't really like rides, but she decided to try it and absolutely loved it. Also, Soarin' could not be closer to the real thing of being on a Hang Glider all around the world. With wind and picture perfect imagines in front of you and around you, I couldn't ask for more.

Downtown Disney (Now called Disney Springs). Tired of the walking around and kids screaming (with joy) all day? Take a bus to Disney Springs. There's plenty of shops and Night Clubs there to give you yet another awesome Disney experience. I just went there for the shops because I'm not allowed to drink yet, but even that was an awesome thing in and of itself. The giant Disney Store is always a MUST, and the restaurants over there are really cool. Sure, it's not the same as Magic Kingdom, but that's the point. It's another attraction adhering to being for all ages.

The Characters. People might think it's lame to carry around an autograph book and to take pictures with the characters, but for me- when I'm in Disney, all bets are off. I will do absolutely anything and everything I can while I'm there to make sure I get the full experience. I always find myself getting emotional watching little kids meeting their role models for the first time in the flesh. A lot of Disney Movies are cartoons, so seeing the actors portraying them in real life and being able to interact with them is just so cool. As an actor, it would be my absolute dream job to be a character in one of the parks. They do such pristine research and look so much like the characters, it's hard to believe they're not real!

Most of all, it's Where Dreams Come True. Talk to any person that has gone, I guarantee they were brought back to when they were a little kid and dreamed big and wanted to explore the world. Disney takes you back and doesn't make you feel guilty about it. It's literally meant to be the Most Magical Place on Earth. And it certainly is.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
