The semester is coming to an end and I know for a fact you still have an abundance of dining points to use up. But what will you spend them on? I've done the research for you so don't let those bad boys go to waste. Here's a list of the best ways to spend them.

Mac and Cheese

The union makes the best mac and cheese on campus. Hands down. You can also get it at bookworms in the library but personally I'd go with the union. Trust.

Chicken Parm Pizza

Pizza is never a bad idea and certainly not a bad way to spend your points. But if you see the chicken parm pizza don't even think, just get it. You need it.

At $2.95 each, these are a steal. Buy one everyday for a week and you'll still probably some extra points leftover.

Chili

Whether it's the veggie or the turkey, UC Cafe's chili is a win in my book. Perfect for the CHILLY whether we've been getting. See what I did there?

Tomato and zucchini soup

Honestly, I only tried this because I was cold and it was pretty much the only option for soup in the union but I was pleasantly surprised. It sounds a bit strange but just try it, nourish your body with some veggies for once.

Italian Wedding Soup

Aka chickarina soup. It's a classic and won't break the bank either. Plus UC cafe's give bread with every soup so that's another win.

Broccoli and Cheddar soup

I think I might just like soup. *shrugs shoulders*

Milkshakes

You can easily use up your points if you start getting milkshakes from Dairy Bar Too on the regular. They're about $6 each which really isn't a lot but hey, I'm not wasting points early in the semester on that.

Breakfast Sandwiches

If you get to the union early enough (aka before 10 am) you can treat yourself to a breakfast sandwich. They serve them where the build your own burritos usually are and you can pretty much get any type that you want. They definitely beat the "eggs" in the dining halls.

Muffins

The double chocolate is a personal favorite. Grab some coffee or tea and a muffin and you'll be spending those points in no time. In fact, if you have enough points, get it every day.

Salads

Some items are a little more expensive so if you have the value dining plan like me, you savor those points. Salads are usually about $8 if you get protein so if you're looking to get rid of points fast, I highly recommend.

There are other ways to spend your points for sure but personally, I don't find the build your own ramen bowl, pasta station or burritos to be that good and they're pretty overpriced for what you get! But hey, if those are your favorites, go for it! Just make sure you get your money's worth!
