Demetria Devonne Lovato, simply often referred to as Demi Lovato, was born on August 20th, 1992. She is an American Singer, Songwriter, and Actress who began her career on Barney and Friends.

Since Barney and Friends, Demi Lovato has starred in hit movies like Camp Rock, Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, and T.V Shows like Sonny With A Chance and Glee. Most importantly, however, she has become an icon in the music world, releasing six studio albums since 2008.

Despite all the struggles that she has been through, Demi Lovato put and continues to put her soul and emotions into each and every song that she has released and continues to release. Perhaps that is what makes her such a role-model to all those who are fans of her music.

With that being said, here are my Top Three Demi Lovato Songs.

3. Remember December:

Remember December is the second single from Lovato’s second studio album. Despite not receiving some of the same popularity as all the other singles, this is one of the first songs that made me fall in love with Lovato as an artist. It is about reminding any ex of the memories that were once shared, but no longer are. Unlike some of Lovato’s other songs, it also gives off a different sound and genre, making it, contrary to what others say, more appealing to a wider audience.

2. Confident:

Confident is the second single from Lovato’s fifth studio album. It is about empowerment and, of course, confidence. It is about believing in oneself and knowing that anything is possible - so long as, of course, you have your heart and mind set on it. Besides, there is no denying that the music video for this song is badass. After all, who knew that Lovato could perform those killer jiu-jitsu moves?

1. Skyscraper:

Skyscraper is the first single from Lovato’s third studio album. Much like her song Confident, this song is about overcoming any and everyone struggle that one comes face-to-face within life. It is about ignoring what anyone may say and, as the saying goes, “doing what is best for you.” I especially love the vulnerability that can be heard in Lovato’s voice in the beginning of the song, and watching it slowly fade towards the middle and end. It becomes clear that anything is possible, just as long as one believes in themselves.

---

Lovato’s sixth studio album, Tell Me You Love Me, was released back in 2017, selling over 48,000 copies in just its first week. Lovato also recently completed her North American Tell Me You Love Me Tour. Thus, it is clear that fans continue to love and support Lovato, and I am, without a doubt, happy to consider myself as one of her supporters. I definitely cannot wait to see and hear what is in store for this sensation next!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
