Let's just say I am so NOT lovin' it.

Dear McDonald's, You're Ruining My Life
Los Angeles Times

Before you start in on positive/negative comments, actually read the article first. McDonald's can ruin your life in many ways. It can mess with your health because you know it's fast food, it can clog your arteries, and if you eat too much of it, it might make you sick. Not saying I don't love their sweet tea, nuggets, and iced coffee, but there is a limit. I want to address the elephant in the room that has me fuming. I've kept quiet about this issue for too long, but now I just can't keep my mouth shut.

First of all, McDonald's, why did you get rid of Orange Hi-C and are going to replace it with Sprite Tropicberry?! First of all, what even is that. What is a tropic berry? Is it just a mix between different kinds of tropical fruit? While I'm sure it won't taste completely terrible, it will never be as great as Orange Hi-C. There is nothing more depressing than when I go to the drive through, order my usual number 10, and when they ask what I want to drink, I say,"Orange Hi-C please," and they say, "We're sorry, we no longer carry Orange HI-C, but we do have Orange FANTA!" I'm sure my face looks like this:

Like no, Orange FANTA is NOT the same thing as Orange Hi-C at all. FANTA is a knock off version of Orange Hi-C if you ask me. HI-C is a beautiful juice that you can buy in a juice box to make you still feel like a kid again. FANTA is a drink that you buy in a bottle or can that burns on the way down your throat.

Orange Hi-C glides through your throat like a rainbow glides through the sky. It just makes you feel so peaceful and like nothing could go wrong in the world. Hi-C is that drink from your childhood that's still available and that you could possibly NEVER get tired of. It's there for you after you've had a hard day and all you want to do is run to McDonald's a grab a large Orange Hi-C and just relax.

Which is another thing I want to address.

How

Could

You

Get

Rid

Of

STYROFOAM

CUPS!?

I don't know if this is in all areas or just where I live, but let me tell you that when I order a large sweet tea and it doesn't come in a styrofoam cup, but instead it comes in a plastic cup, that's when I let all hell break loose. I enjoy sipping all the beverages I get from McDonald's out of a large styrofoam cup.

Sweet tea, Coke, Orange Hi-C, you name it, I was sipping it out of that styrofoam cup. I get it, it's bad for the environment, but that's not my main concern when I have a hankering for McDonald's Sweet tea.

You may think I'm being overdramatic and thinking, "Wow, just get over it. They're all $1.07 and you still get the beverage." Okay yeah, you're not wrong, but it's about the PRINCIPLE of the thing. I'm not someone who completely hates change, but I don't like it either.

Oh, and McDonald's, one last thing. When are you going to bring back snack wraps? I've heard that some still carry them, but most of the ones I've been to don't. I used to get those all the time when I wasn't too hungry or craving a snack. They're so easy to eat and also SO delicious. I'lll be waiting for the day when I can drive up to the drive through and say, "Hi, can I please get a Sweet Chili Snack Wrap with no tomato and a large Orange HI-C (in a styrofoam cup of course)," and not hear the employee say no.

I'm hoping that nothing else decides to leave McDonald's, besides the promotional/seasonal deals, because if I ever go to McDonald's and they say they don't have iced coffees anymore or that they only serve breakfast until 10:30 again, I think I might just go insane. But for now, McDonald's, just know I am so NOT lovin' it.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
