Valentine's Day is coming up soon and whether it's your first date or 100th date with your significant other, the perfect date for February 14 can be a stressful thing to plan. Here's a list of 50 easy-ish date ideas for you and your significant other.

1. Recreate your first date

This is an impressive gesture that is almost guaranteed to be a favorite of your significant other.

2. Body paint each other

Body painting is a way to spice things up for the two of you in intimate places, but also is a way to be creative with each other!

3. Head to a drive-in

Who doesn't love movies where you can watch from inside a car? You can also bring your own snacks, unlike a movie theater. Two for two.

4. Go rock climbing

Just don't visit the ER for an injury.

5. Spend the day at the spa

You both put up with each other. You both deserve a day to relax at a spa. Facials and everything.

6. Go ziplining

Daring if one of you is afraid of heights, but totally worth it!

7. Netflix and chill

Relax and chill...or more.

8. Start a tradition

Create a tradition the two of you can look back on and remember forever.

9. Go bowling

Competitive or not, bowling is fun (unless you lose).

10. Go to a concert

It doesn't have to be a local band, but go to a concert where you can dance with your significant other and show them off.

11. Go lingerie shopping

Sexy and useful when you get home.

12. Go to the zoo

And have fun with your boo!

13. Weekend in Las Vegas

Booze, gambling, no judgment. What else do you want?

14. Stargaze

There's nothing more romantic than a person who knows their stars. Just be careful if you're going to be rolling around in the grass. Watch out for insects.

15. Game night

This doesn't have to be board games. You could challenge your significant other to a competitive game of Mario Cart. As long as you're both having fun!

16. Play 21 questions

A great way to ask questions about each other.

17. Go to an open mic night

Bonus points if you get on stage and sing.

18. Horseback riding

If this is a surprise date, be sure your significant other is into horses and riding them. There's nothing worse than going on a date and being uncomfortable the entire time.

19. Play truth or dare

Exciting or dangerous, you decide which one.

20. Take a (mini) road trip

Don't let it hurt your bank account, though.

21. Karaoke night

Dance, sing, drink, and make fools of yourselves together.

22. Go people watching

Don't worry, we ARE judging you and your PDA.

23. Work out together

Couples who work out together, stay together.

24. Wine and chocolate at sunset

This is obviously a must, you can't really mess this one up.

25. Go to the beach

Relax together in the sun. Just be careful if you're going to be rolling around in the sand.

26. Picnic in the park

Classic and romantic.

27. Play pool

A perfect chance to make your move.

28. Play paintball

A good way to bring out playful competition between you and your significant other...just don't go too hard.

29. Play laser tag

Channel your inner kid and be goofy with each other.

30. Drive around the city visiting new places

Just spending the day together with no set schedule can be very romantic.

31. Make a fun music video

You don't have to upload it anywhere, but be creative and fun with each other!

32. Visit a pet store

If you're lucky enough, you may be able to bring home a puppy.

33. Chick flick movie marathon

Sorry fellas, but it's Valentine's Day. Chick flicks are kind of written into this day.

34. Play mini golf

Classic and fun.

35. See a show at a comedy club

Laughter is the best medicine. Get better together!

36. Go canoeing, rafting, or tubing

Get wet and wild!

37. Shopping spree together

Although, it may be best to set a limit for each of you so you don't pile up in unnecessary bills.

38. Build a fort

This will never get old, no matter how old you get.

39. Cook something you’ve never tried before

Experimenting with someone else is better than experimenting alone.

40. A day at the shooting range

Let it out before you get to dinner.

Let's face it, you may never get another chance.

42. Taste wine at a winery or vineyard

Get drunk in the classiest way.

Getting back to nature with your significant other is a perfect date, especially if you like the outdoors.

46. Play strip poker

Need I say more?

47. Ice skate

As long as your okay with the chance of falling on your butt in front of everyone!

48. Learn a new activity together

This can range from a new instrument, learning how to knit, or even something simpler like rollerblading.

49. Fancy night out

There's something exciting about dressing up fancy and going out to eat. Make the most of it!

50. Simple night in

This is definitely more cost-effective than a fancy night out, and you can also do what you want in the comfort of your own home!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
