If you're like me and you work in retail then you understand the horrors that can occur when dealing with customer service. From angry unsatisfied customers to sweet appreciative customers you never know which kind of customer you're going to get. There are so many things that are considered wrong in the retail world, but some of them aren't as obvious. Below is a list of 25 of the biggest pet peeves for people who work in retail.

1. We can't make miracles happen

2. If we don't got it, then we don't got it

3. We aren't responsible for the bathrooms... shit happens

4. You aren't our only customer, so wait your turn

5. Go to an open register if you're going to complain about the line

6. Put your items back or hang them back up at least

7. Throw your trash away

8. Stop stealing... it's not worth it

9. Don't leave the dressing room like your room at home

10. We aren't your maid, so clean up your messes

11. Just because you have a million coupons doesn't mean you can use them all on the same purchase

12. Stop assuming that the item that is misplaced is on sale because chances are it's not

13. Don't ask for my help when I have a pile of clothes in my arms

14. Don't assume I work in every department and know everything little thing about the store

15. Don't yell at me when we sell out of a product because I can't control that

16. Don't assume that I know if we are getting something in stock because I have no clue

17. Don't approach me with an attitude, you can at least ask how my day is going

18. Don't come in 5 minutes before we close to "look around"

19. Don't throw things around the store or ride kayaks down the escalator

20. Put your carts back, that includes baskets

21. Don't pee on the elevator

22. Don't scream at me while I'm cleaning the bathroom after you complained about it being dirty

23. Don't get mad at me when I try to solve your problems

24. Don't shop the products that I'm putting out on the floor off of my z-rack, wait until I'm done

25. Don't ask me if every little thing is on sale, If there isn't a sign then it's full priced

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.
