We all have some words that just rub us the wrong way or a word that simply makes us cringe. Maybe they trigger a bad memory, or maybe they are just disgusting words. I asked the question, "What words make you cringe?" on Snapchat and Instagram and even made a survey and linked it to both Snapchat and Twitter (a special thanks to all my lovely friends for participating.) Here are some of the results:

1. Moist

Definitely the most hated. I'm sorry if reading this word made you cringe.

2. Flap(s)

This was actually second to "moist."

3. Puss


Ew

4. Crusty

*cringes*

5. The sound of people chewing

Not a word, but definitely cringe-worthy!

6. Phlegm

I don't know what's worse: the word or the actual thing.

7. GPA

Definitely a word directed towards college students, but still cringe-worthy and tear-worthy.
