A Court of Mist and Fury review by Sarah J Maas

Where do I even start with this book? It was infinitely better than ACOTAR. I have to admit, although I really did enjoy ACOTAR, I was worried that this book would be overhyped, and there's nothing I hate more than overhyped books. Thankfully, I was completely wrong!
This book started pretty much where ACOTAR left off, which I thought was good because I liked seeing how Feyre adjusted right after everything that happened with Amarantha. I loved how Sarah J Maas did not try and gloss over everything, but instead showed Feyre's struggle with what she had been forced to do.
It really kicked off for me when she first visited the Night Court. I absolutely loved the dynamic and being able to compare it to the Spring Court. It's amazing how in one book people's opinions of Tamlin and the Spring Court can just go down the drain in favour of Rhysand and the Night Court. I feel the same!
One of my favourite parts of the book was meeting Rhysand's inner circle. I love all of them in different ways. First, Rhysand is everything I hoped a high Lord to be compared to Tamlin. His dynamic with Feyre is hilarious, especially when they bicker to each other and certain events that happen near the end of the book (which reminded me very much of Aelin and Rowan in Empire of Storms). I also loved Cassian and Azriel, and learning about the Illyrians. However, it made me so sad to even think about their backgrounds, it was all very depressing.
However, I have to admit Amren and Morrigan stole the show. The mysterious and frightening air around Amren is so exciting, and so frustrating as I just want to know who she is! I love how everyone is scared of her and I really just want to learn more about her. I absolutely love Morrigan too. The thought of her past, too, makes me sad (her family are horrible) but the relationships she has with the inner circle, especially Rhysand and Azriel, are amazing.
This book was just a whirlwind of emotions. So much happened between Feyre and Rhysand, and then at the end with the inner circle and Feyre's family made me so shocked - I love plot twists. I also can't wait to learn more about the King of Hybern. Overall, this book was one of the best books I've read all year. 5/5 stars.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
