I have a confession to make.
I don't really care for coffee but somehow I find myself standing in Starbuck's line for one particular drink. Caramel Macchiato. Iced or hot. Any variation of a Macchiato. It's the bomb and I never thought those words would come out of my mouth. In fact, since this semester started and dining dollars have been affluent, Starbucks has gotten all my love.
I will wait in line for 15,20,30 minutes just to taste the heavenly mix of caramel and coffee mixed together. Was almost late for class because I just couldn't stand another second without my drink for the day. And this is coming from a girl who rolled her eyes at other people obsessing over Starbucks.
Does that make me basic, maybe, but this chick doesn't care because I've been won over.
Growing up in a house where one parent comes from European roots consisted of me mainly sippin on tea and water. My mother is French you see and was raised on the stuff so naturally being my mother's daughter, I followed her drinking habits as well. It took driving around town with my friends to even attempt trying the coffee. My first impressions weren't that great.
Straight coffee - blah, next! Frappuccino - not to my taste buds, next! Green Latte - could be better, next! Caramel Macchiato - OMG WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE!
And now that Fall 2017 season has kicked in, Cinnamon Almond Milk Macchiato has entered my life. Is this real life?
