If you're an introvert, you know what it's like getting asked a bunch of questions about why you aren't going out, or why you choose to stay at home. Here are some more comments all introverts are tired of hearing:

1. "You never hang out with me anymore."

I don't ignore you because I'm mad at you, I just don't want to go outside and interact with people today. Some days I just need a break, I need to be alone.

2. "Why do you always stay at home?"

Home is my safe space. I don't have to worry about anything or anyone. I can do whatever I want. For example, I can watch Netflix, sleep, bake cookies, color, or decompress.

3. "You need to get out more."

I don't need to get out. I've had enough time interacting with people and I need to be alone for a little bit.

4. "Why are you so quiet?"

Sometimes I don't speak up because I have nothing to say or I'm busy thinking about what I'm going to eat for lunch/dinner.

5. "Do you even have friends?"

Of course, I do! Just because I enjoy my alone time does not mean that I don't have any friends. I just have to learn how to balance alone time with hanging out with them.

6. "You're boring."

I'm sorry you don't find binge-watching Netflix all day enjoyable, but that doesn't make me a boring person!

7. "Are you mad at me?"

Most of the time my answer is no. People tend to think I am mad at them because I cancel plans. In reality, I just need to stay in and be alone that day.

8. "OMG, you're going home already?"

Yes, I am extremely uncomfortable and I just want to crawl into bed already.

9. "Are you okay?"

Again, yes I am okay. Just because I spend a lot of time alone does not mean I am sad. I actual enjoy my alone time!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
