Each university has hundreds of majors that their students can choose from and along with each of these majors comes a distinct personality associated with that field of study. What better way to distinguish majors than with ice cream flavors?

1. English: Toffee

Classic and influenced by England, toffee ice cream suits any English major who spends most of their time reading Jane Austen or Charles Dickens.

2. Biology: Green Tea

Although this seems like an obvious correlation since green tea is made out of Camellia sinensis leaves and biology majors study topics such as photosynthesis and plant anatomy, green tea is also subtly sweet and mellow, similar to most biology majors (totally not bias here or anything).

3. Chemistry: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

Chemistry is all about combining different amounts of certain reactants together to form mixtures or solutions and if we're getting technical, chocolate chip cookie dough is basically a heterogenous mixture.

4. Computer Science: Mint Chocolate Chip

Computer science majors are the types of people who are generally more technical and logical than liberal arts majors, however, it is necessary to realize that even computer science, creativity is important. While mint chocolate chip is not as flowery as other ice cream flavors, it still has small bursts of chocolate sweetness in every spoonful, which is the perfect way to describe a computer science major.

5. Business: Vanilla

In America, vanilla is the best selling ice cream flavor, so it's logical that if a business major was any ice cream flavor, it would be vanilla.

6. Public Health: Mango

Public health majors are concerned with global and population health, which means that they should be knowledgable about different countries and the international health scene. Mango flavored ice cream is most popular in tropical regions of the world and is as refreshing and unique as public health itself.

7. Nutrition: Frozen Yogurt

Frozen yogurt is the healthier alternative!

8. History: Butter Pecan

Butter pecan is a classic and an old fashioned ice cream flavor, much like history.

9. Visual Arts: Dark Chocolate

Visual Arts majors are passionate and expressive, always trying to depict life's inner workings and truths in their works. Dark chocolate ice cream is a perfect fit for these majors because dark chocolate is rich and has a multitude of layers.

10. Political Science: Rocky Road

Rocky road ice cream is the best way to describe political science majors, as the political scene is never smooth and these people are continually facing debates and criticism for their viewpoints.

11. Education: Coffee Ice Cream

An education major's best friend is coffee and so it is evident that their ice cream flavor would be coffee ice cream, as they need all that caffeine to grade papers and control their students all day long.

12. Engineering: Astronaut Ice Cream

Engineering majors are constantly trying to build or create something new or innovative, and astronaut ice cream is a very product of that.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
