If you've ever celebrated Easter or have been to the mall during spring, you know "the dress." That big, fluffy, pastel covered, cupcake shaped frock.
At some point in time, every mother with a daughter decided that there needed to be an Easter "look" that they had to follow. A specific dress code if you will.

Our moms tore up Macy's looking for the frilliest and pinkest one she could find. The shopping trip could take an entire day if you include finding and matching all of the accessories.

Welcome back to 2004, ladies. We were the belle of the Easter dinner table and relished in the compliments from the choir ladies at church.
Every time someone told us we looked so cute, our moms smiled with pride knowing that there was yet another successful Easter.
Now that we're in college and are wearing something like this to Easter dinner:
Our moms still look at us and see this
