For me, Christmas movies have been consuming my life since November 1st, so I have compiled a list of a few of my favorites that you need to check out this holiday season.. (In no particular order because how can you give Christmas movies a rating when they’re all so great?)

1. "A Christmas Prince"

A girl goes across the world to report on a story. When she can't get it, she goes undercover, but what happens if she falls in love while lying about who she is?

2. "A Christmas Carol"

It's a classic. The story of a man who hates Christmas and the journey he goes on to discover the true meaning. This one never gets old.

3. "Christmas Crush"

A girl goes to her Christmas party high school reunion in search of reconnecting with her high school love. What she doesn't know is that an entirely new love waits right around the corner.

4. "Christmas In The City"

A woman moves to the city for the holiday season to make some extra cash in hopes of keeping the family business alive. When she gets there she discovers an amazing job and an amazing guy. Will she leave everything in the city to save her family business?

5. "Holiday Breakup"

Okay, this movie isn't just about Christmastime but it is still a hilarious holiday movie about a couple who just can't seem to get it right.

6. "The Polar Express"

Hands down one of the best family Christmas movies ever. Lighthearted and full of wonder, this is a movie that I can (and have) watched countless times and love it every time.

7. "My Santa"

A woman's new love interest seems to make everyone's lives better. But how? As their love blooms, she discovers there's something special about this guy. Will she discover what it is in time?

8. "Back To Christmas"

Upon meeting an angel, a woman gets a second chance at the perfect Christmas. But will what she's always wanted be what she really needs?

9. "How Sarah Got Her Wings"

A woman dies before Christmas. When she gets to Heaven she discovers she's not on "the list". She is sent back and given a task to complete, but things get in the way. Follow her on her journey to make it into Heaven.

10. "Elf"

Here's another Christmas classic that you'll never get tired of. Follow this elf on his journey to discover what makes him so different.

11. "Crown For Christmas"

A woman needs some extra money and takes a job as the governess for a troublesome little girl. What she gets out of the job is much more than money and experience.

12. "A Royal Christmas"

Her boyfriend finally takes her to meet his family, but when she discovers he is royalty, things get a little complicated.

13. "The Mistletoe Inn"

An aspiring writer signs up for a conference where her favorite writer is presenting. There, she meets friends, new lovers, and revisits an ex.

14. "The Santa Clause"

And here's another classic! A common father becomes Santa and now has to figure out how to take over the job.

Christmas is many peoples' favorite time of the year and each of these movies can help you get in the spirit. So put on an ugly sweater and some fuzzy socks, get yourself hot chocolate, and spend your break watching these great movies!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
