7 Ways People Who Have Been Cheated On Love Differently

Starting a new relationship can be so much fun and so exciting.

However, if you're starting this relationship with someone who has been cheated on, they can be overcome by many different emotions. They've been damaged by someone's thoughtless and careless actions which will make them nervous to start anything new.

The best piece of advice I can give you is to be patient with them and try to understand why and how they will love you a little different than you may be used to.

They will question everything

Trust me when I say that it's not because they don't trust YOU. It's because they are thinking to themselves that maybe if they questioned their last relationship, maybe they wouldn't have had to go through as much pain and heartbreak as they did.

They are very emotional

I mean, that is to be expected… They've been hurt and badly damaged by someone and the smallest little trigger can set off the waterworks.

They love you deeply

Once it hits them that you are here, and here to stay, they will love you and love you hard... They will start to see a future with you and they will start planning a future, as well.

They have trust issues

That just comes with the territory, I guess... They will be scared to open up and let you in because they did that before and that just left them broken... I mean, I don't blame them. Can you?

They need your constant attention and reassurance

They want to make sure that you are still interested in them; that you still like them and that you are still committed to your relationship. If you're not giving them enough attention they will get very frustrated and ask you for your constant reassurance.

They won't automatically open up right away

It may seem that they are being distant, but trust me, they just don't want to give you their all until they know that you are here to stay.

They want to spend all of their free time with you

The fear of you spending all of your time with someone else is terrifying to them... They want you to want to be with them. It won't be easy; in fact, it will be difficult at times, but they are worth it. They are the ones that will appreciate you the most because you see something in them that someone else just threw away.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
