So I recently replayed “Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered” and I must say, that game is even better as a remaster.
The "Modern Warfare" series was my childhood, and seeing the first entry Remastered last year was something that got me really excited. It basically has really updated graphics with the same gameplay, more or less. It's great because it's a nice break from the future stuff that "Call of Duty" fans had to deal with for the past few releases at that time.
"Modern Warfare" was one of my favorite games of all time, from the story which was about a fictional Second Russian Civil War in the year 2011, to the multiplayer experience. "Modern Warfare" was a perfect gift bag of things to do.
MW offered many fun things to do and kept the audience entertained. "Modern Warfare Remasterd" offered a few new things, such as player customization, new weapons, supply drops (ugh don’t get me started), and a new mode, Prop Hunt. Prop Hunt is a game mode where you are basically a prop from the game and the other team has to find you. It’s kind of silly but it’s a lot of fun!
The campaign takes place in October of 2011 during a Second Russian Civil War, with Ultranationalists attempting to reinstate a Soviet Union like government. You play as two characters. A man named John “Soap” MacTavish who has just joined the S.A.S, and another named Private Jackson, who is a marine. Jackson is dealing with a coup in the Middle East, while Soap deals with the Russian Civil War.
"Modern Warfare Remastered" is a must-have for all gamers. It’s a classic game. I am really excited to see what other classic "Call of Duty" games Acitvision remasters next. Fingers crossed for "Modern Warfare 2!"
