Bye Finals, Hello Summer!

Finals season is finally over. It has been a stressful week with perhaps 4-5 finals. But you've done it and now you're free. Now what? I don't know about you but I still feel like I have an assignment due. There is a feeling deep in my mind that I have a test next week. But that's not true! It's summertime and you know it.

Here are some activities you can do. First of all, sleep! You have probably been sleep-deprived this whole semester because of all the homework assignments, projects, and exams you had weekly! There is no reason why you have to wake up at 7 am now. Go ahead and sleep in. But this also means you can stay up until 3 am watching Netflix. Nobody is stopping you.

Also, summer means new movies! I haven't seen the new Avengers movie or A Quiet Place because I have been so busy with finals. But I will definitely see them sooner or later! While you're at it, you can ask your crush to go with you to the movies. This might be the start of a new relationship. Doesn't hurt to try!

You can also go to the beach or the pool. Lately, it's been really hot. Now is the time to get your bathing suits, sunglasses, and sunblock and go get a tan! Enjoy this vacation that you deserve due to your hard work this academic year.

You are going to have so much free time that you might as well get a summer job. You should take advantage of all the money you can earn since you're not going to be busy. Better save up for an incoming trip or to buy that new phone that you've been meaning to get.

At the same time, you don't have to do anything. You don't have any responsibilities if you don't have a summer job. You can just sleep in and do nothing all day. Once you wake up, you can just watch Netflix. You might as well binge watch Friends, all 10 seasons. You will feel accomplished after finishing.

Whatever you decide on doing, you will have a fantastic summer! Don't let anything get in your way of doing what you want to do. You already passed those classes, so now is your time to relax. Stop worrying and just move on. Take care of yourself by sleeping and doing what is good for you. You will thank me later.

So far, I've been sleeping a ton and I finally got around to seeing the new Avengers movie. I've spent time with my family and my sorority sisters. I am constantly checking Blackboard for any updates on grades but that shouldn't get in my way of enjoying my summer. #Summer2018

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
