I get it, you're broke but you still want to travel and explore around. I'm no travel expert but living in the Seattle region has provided me the experience and knowledge to adventure this beautiful city, without breaking the bank. Today I will guide you into the heart of this coast city at an affordable and cheap cost.
1. Pike Place Market
The greatest attraction Seattle has to offer has to be the Pike Place Market. From the vibrant fish market to the quirky vendors, this market is located in the heart of Seattle. You know what the best part about this place is though? It's absolutely free to look, smell, and explore! From taking pictures at the gum wall, strolling down the beautiful waterfront at no expenses from your pocket has to be a miracle. A food tip from a local: don't waste your time by waiting in line for some clam chowder. The one inside the market is a tourist trap and a stagnant hell. Travel down to Pacific Place next to Westlake Center for the same brand, taste, and price without the long wait!
2. Alki Beach
In my opinion, Alki beach is the supreme king of all beach parks in Seattle. From the beautiful coastline to the amazing food, this place has it all! I think the greatest attraction of Alki beach has to be the rentals. At a cheap price around 15 bucks an hour, you can rent from all assortments of vehicles such as bikes, longboards, skateboards, etc.
3. Where to eat?
Now, Seattle is rising to be one of the top foodie culture cities in the world, from fresh seafood to all variety of cuisines. I will be writing a separate article for some of my favorite restaurants but I wanted to suggest this place for their cheap and delicious burgers; Rain City Burgers. This joint is located just above the University of Washington and has prices that are on par with some of its fast-food competitors. Voted one of Eater Seattle's top cheap places to eat, this burger joint will provide a classic and savory taste that will represent Seattle in the most delicious way!
