Most of us all struggle with anxiety sometimes. I know for me personally it was hard for me to face it, but I knew that the only way to get better was to face it head on. I consistently worry about money or my grades, so here are a few bible verses that have helped me

1. Philippians 4:6

"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank him for all He has done."

2. Philippians 4:7

"Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."

This verse is a continual of #1. Once you stopped worrying and start praying then that's when it all starts you will experience peace from God that you can't fathom.

3. 1 Peter 5:7

"Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you."

Wow how awesome is that to know that no matter what you have someone who will ALWAYS care about you.

4. Matthew 6: 25-27

25 "That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't life more than food, and your body more than clothing?"

26 "Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren't you far more valuable to him than they are?"

27 "Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?"

This is my all time favorite!!!! He tells us in scripture that we don't have to worry about we are going to eat, drink, or wear the next day. It has already been written we are taken care of! How awesome is that ? Lastly, I love how it asks can it add a single moment to your life? No it can't. Let's stop worrying about things, and start giving it to Him.

5. Psalms 94:19

"When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer."

Don't have doubt, His comfort will give you hope.

6. Joshua 1:9

"This is my command-be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go"

Why should you feel weak or be afraid ? He is with you everywhere you go.

7. Proverbs 12:25

"Worry weighs a person down; an encouraging word cheers a person."

Challenge yourself to say something encouraging to someone. If they are stress don't add to it by worrying them.

8. Ecclesiastes 11:10

"So refuse to worry, and keep your body healthy. But remember that youth, with a whole life before you, is meaningless."

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?
