The time that you spend in college is the most influential four years of your life. No matter if you are a freshman being alone for the first time or a senior that is about to enter the real world and be truly 100% independent, these years shape who you are and help mold the person that you are going to be in the future. So much rides on your time here that it is important for the university that you spend this time to feel like home away from home.

But that's not the case for everyone. Sometimes the place they are at the moment doesn't feel like home and feels at home somewhere else.

And that is perfectly Okay.

If that's the case for you, I hope you find guidance in these bible verses and take God with you every step of the way.


Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight"

I hope you remember on that on your new journey to always lean on him in times of trouble and in times to lean on Him for guidance.


Psalms 16:8: "I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken"

Believe that God will help you through any trial that you go through and that we will be there through every study session, every paper, and every test. You'll never be alone with him.


Ephesians 3:20 "Now unto him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,".

Know and take comfort in the fact that with God you can succeed and do anything that you put your mind to.


Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

God will always be there to guide you through everything that you face. So don't be afraid and upset that something goes awry, It'll all work out in the end.


Matthew 6:34 "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."

It is so easy to worry about the future as a college student; trying to make sure that everything is pieced together in a certain way to help craft what you want your future to be and to hold. Have faith in the many things to come and don't stress about the little things.


John 13:7 "Jesus replied, 'You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand."

Not everything in college is going to go picture perfectly everytime, You're going to fall but it's needed to grow in life. May you look back in life and smile at the progress that you've made and trust in his plan


Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Take heart in the fact that God knows what's best for you. He's never going to lead down the wrong path, and you'll never be alone with him. He's always a prayer away and he is never to busy for you. He loves you and he will continue to always.


I wish you the very best of luck in your new journey, and I pray that God will comfort you ever step of the way.
