Typing out this headline actually felt kind of uncomfortable.
I was a part of the "Bee Hive" for years. I loved Beyoncé ever since she was a member of Destiny's Child.
From the start, Beyonce always knew she had it like that. Besides the fact she's absolutely stunning, the girl also has incredible talents. Her voice, for one, is incredible. She can sing slow melodies like "Halo" but also create absolute bangers like "7/11." This is pretty impressive if you ask me. Do not even get me started on her dancing abilities. There is no doubt that she started at a young age, and continues to break it down like no other at age 37.
But in all honesty, the Beyoncé Knowles I always looked up to just is not the same anymore. And yes, I do partially blame it on her broken marriage. Obviously, no marriage is perfect. However, I am a strong believer that if someone wants to hurt you, lie to you, or cheats on you, then they do not deserve you.
End of story.
And if someone has the audacity to cheat on Beyoncé something is seriously wrong with this world.
But hold up.
What really pisses me off the most about that common outlook on the situation is how Queen B handled it herself. Instead of practicing what she has always preached, she settled. In almost every song she preaches about how important it is to find someone down for you and only you, and settle for nothing less than that.
"I can have another you, in a minute," Bey preached in "Irreplaceable" back in '06.
Clearly, any man would be lucky to have a woman as beautiful, talented, and fierce as Beyoncé Knowles on their arm.
In all honesty, Bey should have had enough respect for both herself and her fans to make a better choice about her relationship. Maybe instead of calling out "Becky with the good hair" in her hit song "Sorry" two years ago.
And now, here she is touring OTR part two with Jay-Z. After the release of their new collaborated album entitled "Everything Is Love".
I don't know about you, but betrayal is definitely not love.
