Whether they’ve made the Allure Beauty List or not, these products are some of my personal favorites, and they can be purchased at your local Ulta. While many Ultas differ in their brands carried in stores, all of these can be purchased online. If you have a gift card lying around, but weren’t sure what to spend it on, here are a few of the absolute best products from Ulta.
1. Benefit Cosmetics- The POREfessional Face Primer $31
A little more on the pricey side for a primer, but in my opinion, worth every penny. Ulta’s website states that this primer is the #1 best-selling primer in the US, and I believe it. It’s meant to erase fine lines and create the look of smother skin. Definitely a must have for people with textured skin, like me.
2. Tarte-Shape Tape Concealer $27
This concealer quite literally broke the internet directly after its release. To be honest, I didn’t know if it was worth the hype. After it was sold out everywhere, I finally got my hands on one in my shade. Now, I have recently purchased my third one.
I absolutely adore this creamy, non-creasing formula. The shade range is SO legit with 14 different, and I am so thankful that there are darker shades. (There could be a few more, though. Regardless, props to you for some diversity, Benefit!) Ulta’s website states that its full coverage… I agree. It’s also cruelty free, gluten free and vegan! I could go on and on about this one. It’s one of my favs on this list.
3. Two Faced- Better Than Sex Mascara $23
I used to be more obsessed with this than I am now, but I went through a phase I might have to return to. I think everyone needs to at least try this mascara, because it is so unique and different to any mascara I’ve ever tried. There is a regular wear and waterproof version, I prefer the regular wear. It has some serious length and volume qualities, it’s super black, and its vegan!
4. Clarisonic- Mia 1 Skin Cleansing System $129
The most expensive item on the list, but the most beneficial as well. I can literally SEE a difference in my face after I use this to wash. There isn’t a day I go without using this, because of how well it works. It comes with the Radiance Brush Head, but that is removable and other more specific heads are available to purchase. I think this is so worth it.
5. Becca- Ever-Matte Poreless Primer $38
A seriously matte primer. If you have dry skin, I don’t think you should mess with this one as it literally sticks to your face and will accentuate your dry skin, but if your skin is oily, this is the primer for you. I use this primer specifically in the summer to prevent shine, and it does that! Ulta’s website says this product eliminates excess oil for long-lasting matte skin. Try it, seriously it can change your oily skin’s life.
6. Anastasia Beverly Hills- Dip Brow Pomade $18
At just $18, this is the best deal on the list, because of all of the product you get. The product is 0.14 oz and lasts FOREVER! It’s easy you learn how to use and makes your brows look amazing. If you’ve never used a pomade, don’t be alarmed. There are TONS of “How To” videos that can teach you. You need this in your life.
7. IT Cosmetics- Your Skin But Better CC Cream $38
While I don’t support the weak shade range, the finish of this CC cream is so beautiful. I got it originally to wear during the summer months, but soon found that it would be my “go to” foundation. Ulta’s website says that this product delivers 7 different products in one such as SPF 50+, hydrating anti-aging serum and dark spot correcting agents.
8. Urban Decay-All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray $32
Okay, this is a little pricey for a setting spray. But, I use it for so much more than just a setting spray. I use it to dampen my brushes and beauty blenders, too. This setting spray claims to keep makeup in place for up to 16 hours…not sure on the validity of 16 hours, but it’s still awesome.
9. Jack Black-Intense Therapy Lip Balm $7.50
I can’t even believe how amazing this lip balm is. It’s moisturizing, cooling, and recently, it comes in different scents! It contains SPF 25 and is made to guard against extreme windburn. I haven’t found a lip balm I like and enjoy using more than this one.
10. Anastasia Beverly Hills- Modern Renaissance Eyeshadow Palette $42
If you haven’t heard about this, you haven’t been in the makeup world for the last year. Every beauty blogger and guru has reviewed this product and LOVED it! It has a full 5 stars on Ulta’s website and truthfully, it might be the best eyeshadow palette on the market currently. It contains warm oranges, browns and cranberry reds. The palette comes with a double ended shadow brush as well as 14 shadows. This palette never leaves my bag.
11. Milani- Baked Blush (Luminoso) $7.99
This can be purchased at a lot of different places, but some Ultas and Ulta Online have begun carrying Milani and this blush is a must have. Specifically, the color “luminoso” is my favorite. The description of these blushes states that they’re, “sunbaked on Italian terracotta tiles.” If that doesn’t make you want to buy it, then I don’t know what will.
12. Stila- Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner $22
MY FAVORITE! My #1, my go-to, I would marry this product if I could. I have hooded eyelids that often ruin my eyeliner, but I don’t have any problems with this product. It’s so easy to draw a dramatic, straight line, it doesn’t skip or smudge and it literally “stays all day.” It’s also waterproof but comes off when you’re ready for it to. It comes in 10 different colors, but my favorite is “intense black.”
Even if you aren’t in to the makeup scene and are just looking for a few holy grail products, these are my suggestions.
