I love finding TV best friends. Some people look for the relationship goals in movies and TV, but finding a great duo is one of my favorite things. It makes me think of my bestie and our relationship and sometimes even what we have to look forward to as our relationship grows.

With all of my extensive research (watching lots of television), I have made a list of my favorite dynamic duos and some of the best things about them.

1. Cory Matthews and Sean Hunter: Boy Meets World

Cory and Sean started young and stayed together every step of the way. They had their ups and downs as all best friends do but they always had each others backs and that is the sign of an amazing best friend.

2. Joey and Chandler: Friends

Joey and Chandler meet when they were adults but they showed us that there is always time to crack a joke and goof around with your best friend.

3. Lorelai and Rory: Gilmore Girls

Sure they were mom and daughter, but they were so much more, and its always good to have a bestie that inspires and supports you.

4. Turk and JD: Scrubs

Turk and JD are basically a couple, and as true best friends do they embrace it. Even when one gets married or has a girlfriend, Turk an JD remain the power couple.

5. Meredith and Cristina : Grey's Anatomy

Meredith and Cristian had lots of ups and downs in their friendship, filled with joy, catastrophes, distance, and significant others. Despite it all, they remained each others person; meaning even when you fight and are angry they are still the one standing in your corner making you better.

6. Sean and Gus: Psych

Through all the crazy times, goofy antics, and ridiculous schemes, Sean and Gus have remained strong with their friendship showing that there is nothing that a best friend cannot handle, even if they are screaming on the way.

7. Ann and Leslie: Parks and Rec

Leslie gives Ann the best compliments, always supports her and makes her feel special along the way. These besties really know how to show each other how much they care.

8. Sherlock Holmes and John Watson: Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock Holmes is not a man that you would associate with the word best friend often, but he is loyal and honest and he will do anything for John, what more can be asked of a best friend.

9. Jess and Cece: New Girl

Jess and Cece may seem like an unlikely pair, but when you talk to someone every day and they are still your favorite person to talk to, they are long term best friend material.

There are a lot of different besties out there, and each has its own special qualities, but its fun to see you and your bestie with other TV best friends.

To all the besties out there: keep doing you!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
