I love Trader Joe's with a passion. For anyone looking for new things to try from Trader Joe's, here is a list I've compiled of some of my favorite products.

1. Carolina Gold BBQ Sauce

This mustard-based barbecue sauce is an absolute must-have for me. Brush this on chicken wings when BBQ-ing or dip your chicken nuggets in it. It's SO GOOD.

2. Lemon Ricotta Cheese

This cheese is delicious! It's definitely closer to a sweet ricotta cheesecake of sorts than it is to the traditional salty ricotta. It's great on a cracker with jam or honey or even on its own! This is only available for a limited time at TJ's, so make sure to buy it as soon as you see it!

3. Mango & Sticky Rice Spring Rolls

Definitely not the healthiest of items, this spring roll is so good. They come frozen, so heat them up for 10 minutes and there you have it! Warm, sweet, sticky rice wrapped around a mango center. It's to die for!

4. Japanese Style Fried Rice

This frozen rice is perfect for that last minute meal. It comes with edamame, carrots, and bits of tofu and seaweed. It's really one of my favorite things from Trader Joe's!

5. Dutch Stroopwafel Tin

If you're a tea person, you should get this. If you're a coffee person, you should also get this. It's wonderfully crunchy on the outside and yet soft on the inside. It's perfect to put over your mug while your drink is hot; the result is a warm stroopwafel!

6. Sweet Corn, Burrata & Basil Ravioli

This is a seasonal item, only available in the summer. This ravioli is the perfect balance of sweet and salty! They're so good that I eat them without sauce! Just butter or olive oil with a hefty serving of parmesan cheese is all I need!

7. Pumpkin Cream Cheese

Also a seasonal item, this spread is absolutely delicious! I can go through one of these in a week if I'm not careful. I definitely recommend buying this when it comes back on shelves!

8. Chocolatey Coated Chocolate Chip Dunkers

These. Are. BOMB. I don't know what it is about these but I love them more than life itself. These are perfect with any hot drink — the chocolate on the back of the cookies melts and somehow, the dunker becomes even more delicious!

9. Soy Chorizo

I swear by the soy chorizo. It's so well-seasoned and works well in chili, in a taco, or even on top of nachos. I definitely recommend this product for everyone — not just vegetarians!

10. Mini Brie Bites

Not only are these brie bites ADORABLE, but they are also delicious! They're great on crackers or toast, but they're also perfect for making appetizers! Bake these in a little pastry dough with a dollop of jam — it's a no-brainer!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
