Growing up in a family of 6, the holidays were hands down the most wonderful time of the year. I looked forward to those cozy nights by the fireplace watching these Christmas classics all year long!

1. National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation

Just like all the National Lampoon’s Vacation movies, this one never fails to make me laugh. Witnessing the Griswold shenanigans to create the perfect Christmas never gets old.

2. A Christmas Carol

No matter the adaptation, this movie is simply a classic. Everyone knows the story, the three ghosts and Scrooge, and yet it still warms our hearts each and every Christmas.

3. Elf

The Yuletide cheer is basically endless in this comedic take on a Christmas movie. It’s perfect for the whole family, and fortunately, it’s on T.V. just about every night of the season!

4. A Charlie Brown Christmas

Something about watching Charlie Brown that just reminds you of your childhood days, when Christmas was even more magical and exciting. Whether you have a tiny Charlie Brown tree or a giant evergreen, it’s the perfect movie to get you in the holiday spirit.

5. The Polar Express

In this crazy, busy world we live in the Christmas spirit can be hard to come by these days. Young and old, though, appreciate the magic and joy this movie brings into every home, sure to make everyone believe.

Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
