Dear Jada,

Thank you, thank you for everything that you have done for me. We have been through thick and thin over the years, but we have stuck by each other through it all. You have been my A 1 since day 1. We have been there through it all. From bike rides to late night adventures to walking the railroad tracks to all of our beach nights.

You are an amazing person and you will always be one of my closest and best friends. You are the froot to my loop, the apple to my jacks, the rice to my Krispies, the cocoa to my puffs, the lucky to my charms, etc (I think I want some cereal). We have been with each other through breakups and fights and fake friends but in the end, we are always there for each other.

There have been nights where we have helped the other stop crying and nights where we have stayed up and couldn't stop laughing. You made me stay with you the night I had my first break up and you made the whole thing better. You made me laugh through the crying and you helped me get through it. And I have been there with you through the same.

I'm so proud of you and what you are doing. I'm so happy you're almost finished with school and that you have a job and that you are making money for yourself. You are so caring and loving.

You have an amazing heart for other people. You are going to do great things with your life. Thank you for always being there for me through everything and giving me advice when I needed it.

We have known each other for roughly seven years, but it seems like so much longer. It is crazy to think that it just seems like yesterday that we were little kids running back and forth across the streets going from jumping on the trampoline to playing free realms. It feels like I have known you my entire life. I cannot see my life without you.

It has been hard going to college an not having you around every day. But we make it work by texting every day and FaceTiming when we can.

I miss all the times that we would spend time together. Some of my favorite things we would do were our late night beach adventures, where we would sit on the beach and talk about anything and everything.

I also remember when we would take our late night adventures to the park and hide from all of the cars that passed by so we wouldn't get in trouble. I remember all the times we would also go and take turns trying to use the pogo stick and we would always end up falling and laughing at each other.

One of my other favorite memories of us is when you lived across the street from me and you somehow ended up dying your whole head pink. There were also all the times we would sit on my computer and play the Sims and there was the time that you burned our house down.

There are so many memories I would love to write about but there would not be enough space for me to write it all and my deadline for this article is in half an hour so I also wouldn't have the time to write it all.

I am excited for our future and for all the memories we will continue to make and the time we will continue to spend together. I love you so much and I always will.

With much love,

Your best friend, Kaitlynn Shugar

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
