Winter break is right around the corner along with Christmas, and new years. This means students will be heading home to spend time with their families and friends for about a month of so. While people will be busy with holiday festivities, many students will find themselves having lots of free time. Many of these students will find themselves bingeing a tv show of some sort. Well, if you're into action shows, I can help you find one. Below you will find three action-packed TV shows that will most likely entertain you this break.
Prison Break
Prison Break ran from 2005 - 2009. However, in 2017 a new season premiered because of all the requests from fans. This show tells the story of Lincoln Burrows, a man on death row for killing the Vice President's brother, and his brother, Michael Scofield, who gets himself sent to the same prison as his brother so he can break him out. Scofield knows his brother is actually innocent so he is willing to go to any extent in order to get his brother out. This show is filled with action and high stressed scenes that will keep you hooked until the end.
The Walking Dead
While this show has many seasons and probably couldn't be finished in the span of one month, it'd be a good show to start over break. The show currently has 8 seasons on Netflix and another airing on TV. It tells the story of Rick Grimes after he wakes from a coma only to find he's living in a zombie apocalypse. He must find his family, and survive this new world while making new friends along the way. While this show may sound too sci-fi for you, I urge you to try it. It's honestly not too sci-fi-ish. Be warned though: it can be graphic.
NCIS
This show started in 2003 and is currently running. This is more of a cop show than action really but it still qualifies. NCIS is about Leroy Jethro Gibbs and his team of investigators as they investigate the murders of naval and marine officers. Each episode has a different victim and investigation however the characters have their own personal stories which span from episode to episode. This is the kind of show you don't necessarily have to watch in order but it'll help.
So, there you go! If you were thinking about what to watch over break. you now have three great options. So, good luck on finals, have a great break, and go binge!
