Girls do not friend zone guys for the fun of it. There are usually reasons behind her decision making and here are the most common reasons why.

She is Not Attracted To You

It's nothing personal, you just might not be her type. Could be your height, your hygiene, or the way you carry yourself, she just can't expand on your relationship past friends. You don't have to change up your appearance, instead just accept the fact that she is not interested and find someone who like your for being you.

You Don't Have Boyfriend Qualities

She may be attracted to you, but you're lacking in areas that a boyfriend should excel in. Maybe you are not loyal, responsible or mature. These are just a few of the characteristics that boyfriends should have. Somehow you have missed the mark on what she is looking for in a boyfriend.

She Is Not Looking For a Relationship

She may have just gotten out of a relationship or is focusing on herself. Before considering getting into a relationship she needs to prioritize her self-worth so that she can be he best girlfriend possible.You need to respect her space and allow her to come to you when ready.

Her Parents Wouldn't Like You

Parents play a the role in determining who a young girl seeks out to date, especially her father. Her parents want the best for her and will be the toughest critics because they care the most. She is worried about letting them down by bring you into her life. There is something that you are lacking in that is causing her to refrain from pursuing anything further.

She Knows The Relationship Wouldn't Last

Maybe you are non-committed and have a bad track record in relationships so she does not want to attempt to start one with you. She would rather never be our girlfriend than to be an ex that you never want to talk to.

You Have Too Much Baggage

Your past is way too messy for her to deal with.. She knows about all your flaws in past relationships and situationships. You have likely been with a lot of other people, maybe even including her friends. She doesn't want involve herself in potential drama.

No Intellectual Connection

Your conversations always surface level and that is not enough for her. She wants somebody that can teach her something new and connect with her on a deeper level. Boring conversations are insignificant and do not separate you from other people she talks to.

You Are Too Clingy

She is saving herself from the trouble of a clingy and controlling personality. She is a free spirit and does not want to be clocked on wherever she is going. She is also saving you from heartache because she knows you are expecting more of her time than she is willing to give.

You Are Too Much Like A Brother

You both have been friends for too long to transition into anything more. She simply does not see you as more than a friend.

She Is Too Busy

You want a Boss Babe, but she is too busy for you. Her focus is on work, school and whatever she devotes most of her time to. She is not willing to fit you into her schedule because she does not see you as a priority.

Being put in the friend zone is not the end of the world. There is always the potential of getting out of it, but you must first recognize why she chose to put you there in the first place.

Three years ago, I chose to attend college in Philadelphia, approximately 360 miles away from my small town in New Hampshire. I have learned many valuable lessons away from home, and have thoroughly enjoyed my time spent in Pennsylvania. One thing that my experience has taught me, however, is that it is absolutely impossible to beat a New England summer.

You cannot beat the beach. Believe it or not (which many people may not), New England has a long and beautiful coastline. Most of my high school summers were spent sitting on the Wall at Hampton Beach, getting sunburnt and eating Acai bowls from The Secret Spot. The Wall was the place to be both during the day and at night. We begin our days there with a KB's bagel and coffee, and end them with pizza and ice cream. It’s not a New England summer without that 4 p.m. text from someone, “Who wants to meet at the Wall tonight?” Nighttime is for Tripoli’s Pizza, the sound of waves, and wishes on shooting stars. Wednesday nights are especially important, as those are the nights that Hampton Beach sets off the weekly firework display.
