While of course, you may not agree with everything a beauty guru has to say about the products they review but ultimately their videos are good places to start. You can look at swatches and get the scope on a brand’s new collections without even leaving your couch!
Also, they are a good source when to comes to learning about basic makeup and skincare techniques, recreating makeup looks, and learning about the different types of products. There are so many different tricks and tips to learn because not everyone applies their makeup the same way!

1. Jaclyn Hill
Jaclyn Hill lives in Florida and has been filming makeup tutorials for quite a while. She has even collaborated on products makeup brands. She has previously collaborated on a highlighter collection with Becca Cosmetics. In the last year, she released an eyeshadow palette with the makeup brand, Morphe.
2. Jackie Aina
Jackie Aina keeps it real when it comes to reviewing products. As an African American woman, she lets people know what brands have good shade ranges for people of color and what brands need some work. She has even worked with brands on expanding their shade ranges for certain products. Her videos are fun to watch and she touches on important issues involving race as well. Recently she collaborated with the brand, Artist Couture, to formulate a set of highlighters.
3. Desi Perkins
Desi Perkins has great makeup tutorials for glamorous everyday looks. But she also films extremely creative makeup looks for Halloween. Along with making YouTube videos, Desi has a line of sunglasses with Quay Australia. She has also collaborated with the brand, Dose of Colors, on a makeup line with her friend Katy Degroot, known as LustreLux on YouTube.
4. Tati Westbrook
Tati Westbrook is also reliable when it comes to giving their honest opinion about different makeup products. She very dedicated to her channel and post videos 5 times a week. Her reviews range from high-end products to products that can be bought at the drug store. Tati also reviews new interesting beauty products on the market. Recently, she launched her own beauty line called Halo Beauty.
