BB 21 Is By Far The Worst Season Of 'Big Brother'

Racist comments, bad game play, evicting weak players. This season of the reality game show has been full of disappointments.

BB 21 Is By Far The Worst Season Of 'Big Brother'

Let me just preface this by saying, my family and I have watched the show for over ten years now, so I know what I'm talking about. 'Big Brother 21' had a lot of good things going for it when I first saw the previews. A really diverse cast, some drama, what's not to love, right? Well, I was completely wrong.

Let's start with the first episodes of the show. The houseguests decided to choose, of course, the strong guy to be "camp director." Originally it seemed like the women of the house were going to band together to pick a woman to be the director, but of course, we were let down. Every year it seems that whoever has the biggest muscles or the prettiest face get picked for the most powerful positions, and I'M SO OVER IT.

My second complaint. Why did these houseguests ever think an eight-person alliance would ever work. the "Gr8tful" alliance including Bella, Nick, Analyse, Christie, Michie, Jack, Tommy, and Holly ruled the house the first couple weeks. They won the first two Head of Households and had Sam, an outside member win the veto. After that, things fell apart. A blindside by everyone except Nick and Bella to keep Nicole over Cliff was the beginning of the end. The way this alliance treated the other houseguests was horrible. The shut the door to the HOH room on Nicole, yelled at Ovi, and have made personal attacks against anyone that wasn't in their alliance. An eight-person alliance turned into the "Six Shooters" alliance including everyone from "Gr8tful" except Nick and Bella.

Third, we have, yet again, racist comments making headlines in the house. Now I get it, you say things behind closed doors that you wouldn't say in public, but first of all, you're being filmed 24/7 and racism is inexcusable. One example, during a conversation including Jack and Tommy, Tommy said "the proof is in the pudding" regarding Bella's impending eviction. Jack then says "the rice pudding." ARE YOU JOKING. Big Brother during "BB15" made it clear before their episodes that they disagree with what some houseguests were saying about their other competitors regarding their race. This season? Not a peep from CBS. It's wrong and it needs to be called out for what it is. CBS told Jack to knock it off but ultimately decided not to air the comments unlike how they did in 2013.

This cast is one of the worst I've ever seen. They are all sheep, yes I said it. They're SHEEP. They have no good gameplay, they literally don't know how to keep a secret and this season of "Big Brother" is giving me a HEADACHE.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
