They have beauty, charm, demons, and super powers; what more could a girl want?

1. Morticia Addams (The Addams Family)

The mother of all that is darkness and three evil children, lover of Gomez, and a woman who never smiles and rarely shows any emotion. She is a fierce protector of her family and fluent in a romantic French language which makes us all envy her cool, effortless chicness.

2. Wednesday Addams (The Addams Family)

Wednesday Addams gives us all badass goals. She says and thinks exactly what's on her mind, and rocks the braided pigtail look. She makes looking bad look so good.

3. Mavis (Hotel Transylvania)

Though she be but little, she is fierce. Mavis from Hotel Transylvania is the coolest vampire that can full body morph into a bat, love scream cheese and has a ZING for humans. She is the baddest teenage vampire on Netflix.

4. The Sanderson Sisters (Hocus Pocus)

No introduction needed for these bad witches. Winnie, Sarah and Mary can certainly put a spell on the way we wish we could sing like Sarah, command like Winnie, and comfort like Mary. This trio is the perfect combo of spooky and power.

5. Sally (Nightmare Before Christmas)

Sally is the epitome of a diy lady. She can fix herself AND fix Jack Skellington's void-of-something-missing heart.

6. Corpse Bride (Corpse Bride)

Homegirl has been through some things. And still looks amazing. She believes everything can be solved by singing and dancing. And quite frankly; I can't argue with her.

7. Laurie Strode (Halloween)

The OG survivor and MOST badass woman of any scary movie. She loses everyone close to her, her brother stalks her, gets admitted for catatonic episodes and still manages to survive? Epic.

8. Caroline Ellis (The Skeleton Key)

She uncovers all of the secrets of the Devereux family, hoodoo and conjuring and general curiosity of the new house she lives in and puts up a fight up until the very end. She is the definition of "Persistence" as well as "Nonsensical".

9. Trish Jenner (Jeepers Creepers)

Trish is ultimate "sister goals" for her brother, Darry. She provides the playful brother-sister banter all throughout the car ride and also maintains the same kind of loyalty for her brother. She should win some kind of award!

10. Samara (The Ring & Rings)

Also little but fierce, Samara is the biggest baddie of all the scary movies. This little girl was thrown down a well and drowned so she has unfinished business with those who mess with her which kind of makes you feel bad for her, but at the same time, fear her immensely.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
