5 Artists That You NEED To Know Of

Here are six artists I swear you need to listen to before they all pop-off.

1. Alexander 23

Alexander 23 is a pretty quickly growing artist that can contribute a lot of his growth to TikTok. He is has a bedroom pop essence and really relays his emotions through his lyrics. His most popular songs include " IDK You Yet" and " Dirty AF1s". His music is relatable and his social media persona is also very personable.

2. Jack Kays

This indie artist is very low key. His song " Morbid Mind" is featured as YouTuber Alex Warren's outdo song. He has a very unique style that mixes the angst of punk and the instrumentals of pop. He sorta has a Green Day vibe about him. He only has a few songs released so far, but he's definitely an artist to keep an eye out for.

3. dodie

Dodie's dainty voice is so pretty and has a way of making you feel like you're floating. She has very delicate sounding songs with lyrics that pack an emotional punch. She's a tad more popular than the other ones on this list, but she definitely is an underrated artist. She sings about very vulnerable and relatable situations and feelings in a very graceful and mature way. I think that's what is so intriguing about her.

4. Christian Leave

Christian is a bedroom pop/ indie artist who uses dreamy melodic beats to accompany his smooth voice and then mixes in more alternative sounds into the composition to create overall very unique pieces. He is the definition of an alt boy and his music reflects that. He is just such an easy listening artist.

5. chloe moriondo

A lot like dodie, chloe has a very delicate sound to her. most of her music has more of an acoustic dreamy composition to them. Being only 17 years old, she has a certain youth to her that is super interesting and compelling.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
