Often times we forget to be grateful for everything we have. As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, here is just a little reminder to why it is important to be grateful and thankful everyday and not just once a year on the fourth Thursday in November.
Here are 5 things I am grateful for-
1. Waking up everyday with a roof over my head and another day to take adavantage of.
2. Being in good health. Having the opportunity to make healthy choices and exercise.
3. Having family and friends around me who are such a light and postive influence on me.
4. Receving an education. I often forget that I a not just at living away from my family to meet new friend and live on my own, but to get an education, which is something many people don't have the opportunity to do.
5. Last but not least, the little things in life. Some things that make me the happiest are the tiniest things that brighten my day; from encouraging notes secretly left on my desk, meeting new people, uncontrollably laughing about who knows what with my roommates, last minuete adventures and always having someone around who has your back.
There is so much more in my life that I am grateful for, but I want to challenge you to take a few minuets of your day everyday to find 5 things that you are grateful for; so I ask you, what are you grateful for?
