And The New Bachelor is...
Hollywood Reporter

Nick Viall? Wait, what? What happened to Luke, every girl's favorite from The Bachelorette this spring? To most, this was a shock. When The Bachelorette ended, we were all patiently waiting for ABC to announce that Luke was the next bachelor. And we kept waiting, and waiting, and waiting, until just last week after Bachelor in Paradise, it was announced that this season's bachelor would be Nick Viall, making this season his fourth time being on the show.

Viall was a two-time runner-up on The Bachelorette, and he was recently on Bachelor in Paradise. My first thought when I heard this was hasn't this guy had enough? Isn't he done with ABC and these shows? On the other hand, I have to give him credit for still searching for that "special someone", even though he clearly thinks the only way he'll meet someone is through these TV shows. And although the true Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise fans may be a little sick of seeing him on the shows, there are several reasons why Nick makes a great bachelor:

1. Bachelor Nation is rooting for him

Maybe, just maybe, this time, it will all work out for him in the end. People that were on the Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise before knows that Nick will be a great bachelor, and are rooting for him to (hopefully, fingers crossed) find love and happiness this season.

2. He knows how the show works

The rose ceremonies, the group dates, and let's not forget the one-on-one time, Nick has experienced it all. He knows what to say and do on the show to make America love him, but he also knows how to cause some drama. He knows how the show works, so he understands what America wants to see.

3. He owns his mistakes and his past

This is a difficult thing for most people to do, and not only has Nick done this, but he has also done it on national television. What more could a girl ask for?!

4. He's brave (or crazy?)

Probably somewhere in between. Not many people are willing to put themselves out there, especially on national television. This season will be Viall's fourth time being on the show, and we can't help but admire his determination. But at the same time, when is enough enough?

Good luck, Nick, we can't wait to see what this season has in store for you.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
