An Open Letter To Those Who Need To Restore

To Those Who Need to Restore:

There can be a time when you feel out of sorts and fee things aren't as they used to be. When I talk about ambiguous themes in these open letters, I encourage my readers to keep in mind that each individual is different. Restoration is, essentially, bringing something back to the way it was. So, whatever in your life that feel needs to be restored, you owe yourself that chance.

When it comes to the type of restoration, I hope that this letter finds you seeking those that bring positivity into your space. We could consciously want something back, but it not be good for us or for who we are in the present. Maybe it was something you did, but wanted to do it differently or potentially a situation involving someone that you have the chance to reconnect with? Restoration means so many different things to many different people. My list would be ongoing if I tried to think of most of them.

So, why am I even writing about this if it's so broad a topic? The things that we allow back in can shape where we go from this moment on. If your space is filled with positive energy, but negative energy is allowed to enter, surely, there is a chance the negative can be equal to or greater than the positive. Not everything in life will go perfectly nor will it always be under your control. However, the things that you can control should filter in positive energy to who you are and where you want to be.

I hope that whoever is reading this can get the healthy restoration they seek. I hope that whoever you entrust into that insight also supports you how they see fit in the most positive ways. Life goes in it's own direction depending on how you choose to live it. May restoration aid in that process of channeling where you want to be and serve in the most helpful way.

Restore with care and build with positivity. May all of your connecting lead to better things for you.

With Care,

Jessica

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
