Lately, all I've been watching are fables, fairytales and fiction.

Step into my messy movie room, grab yourself an afternoon quarantine beer, and settle in to watch a __ and you'll either have the pleasure of joining me for a simple, animated children's story or a futuristic fantasy. I do believe that I'm driving my boyfriend insane BUT it's all that I've been wanting to watch!

Could it be coronavirus? Could it be the conspiracy theories surrounding coronavirus?

Could it be the buzz around murder hornets? Could it be the supposed poisonous plans trespassing onto properties all around my home in Pittsburgh, PA? Could it be the polar vortex supposedly approaching mid-May?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
