The wearable trends this season are something that I am so excited about! Summer is officially over and the falling temperatures are coming fast. It's something that I am loving but also dreading, these hot temperatures are keeping me from supporting the awesome Fall trend of velvet. Why this incredible fabric is soft and keeps you warm, but it also keeps you looking your best as well!

I first became obsessed with velvet when I found an amazing pair of velvet heels, they have such a classy look to them that they truly go with everything. Not only are velvet heels a trend but so are velvet booties for the fall. Velvet shoes soft texture makes almost all outfits appear elegant, despite efforts to dress it down.

When I am looking for a velvet piece I tend to look for darker colors and pieces that are high waisted and clinched at the waist, by doing this your legs will look like they go on for days! But beware, any type of liquid stains velvet beyond any kind of repair! So avoid wear velvet pieces out in the rain or to a place that it could get ruined easily.

There are all kinds of velvet pieces to choose from, blazers, pants and my personal favorite, chokers. I absolutely love chokers and just the fact that they come in velvet makes them so much better. Velvet chokers come in so many colors, from black, red, pink and even lilac. These pieces can dress up a plain outfit and add a little bit of edge to any piece.

Along with all of the other fall trends that are popping up, the velvet trend has to be one of my favorites, It's wearable, it's affordable and it is just downright fashionable. So watch out fall, velvet is coming your way!
