*WARNING* There are no big spoilers here, however, if you don't want to know anything at all about the movie, what are you still doing on this page? Get out of here and go see it already!

Mark my words: "A Star is Born" is going to be the next "big movie" of our time. I heard about it, I saw it, and I wrote down ten reasons why you'll love it just as much as I did.

1. Gaga

Yes, she's still stunning even without a meat dress.

Gaga (Stefani Germanotta)'s incredible voice and extraordinary individuality have gained her millions of fans since her beginnings in the early 2000s, but in this movie, it's Gaga in a whole new light. She plays the main character, Ally, and let me tell you - she kills it.

Her acting? Amazing. Her voice? You already know. "A Star is Born" reignited my love for Gaga and her music, and I am NOT ashamed to say that I'll be listening to old Gaga albums on repeat for the foreseeable future.

2. Bradley Cooper

I mean seriously, just look at him.

Is there anything Cooper can't do? In "A Star is Born," he is the lead actor, director, and a singer. We all knew he could act, but he can sing too?! Come on. It's just not fair. Cooper plays Jackson Maine, a famous country artist who discovers Ally singing in a drag bar.

3. The Chemistry

Gaga and Cooper Singing Together

Gaga and Cooper, or should I say Ally and Jackson, have the most adorable love story on screen, and rumors are that this chemistry transfers to off screen as well... Either way, their chemistry in the movie will have you jealously wanting to fall in love with someone either for the first time, or all over again.

4. The Already-Stuck-In-My-Head Soundtrack

The soundtrack. Oh my god. The amount of times I got chills listening to the music in this movie is innumerable. The way Gaga and Cooper's voices mesh together is *magical*.

The main song is called Shallow, and not only is it musically gorgeous, it also holds so much significance because *MINI SPOILER ALERT* it's the first song of her own that Ally shows Jackson. Shallow also happens to be my favorite song of the film, so I highly recommend listening to it... on repeat.

5. The All Too Real Portrayal of Addiction

Anyone who has ever known someone who struggled with addiction of any kind will agree that this film does a phenomenal job framing it. The raw emotions portrayed will have you feeling them right along with the characters, especially if you've seen addiction firsthand. The vulnerability of the disease is exposed so well in A Star Is Born that you'll just have to see it to believe it.

6. The Emotions

"A Star is Born" had me and everyone else in the theater laughing, crying, and everything in between. The plot sucks you right in, and you don't realize how invested you are in it until you're experiencing very real emotions over fictional characters.

7. It's a Modern Remake

Judy Garland

Gaga and Cooper's is actually the fourth version of "A Star is Born" to be released. In chronological order, all four versions starred:

1. Fredric March and Janet Gaynor (1937).

2. James Mason and Judy Garland (1954).

3. Kris Kristofferson and Barbara Streisand (1976).

4. Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga (2018).

I personally have not seen the three previous versions, but according to reviews I've read, the new film does an impeccable job with modernizing the classic story. If you have seen the previous versions, why not go see the new one and judge for yourself?

8. Awards

"A Star is Born" will undoubtedly be the recipient of more than a few academy awards. Go see it, you know you want to be able to say "I've seen that!" when it sweeps the Oscars.

9. There's a Dog

Selby Proctor

Need I say more? If for no other reason, go see "A Star is Born" for the dog. He's adorable, I promise.

10. "Certified Fresh"

"A Star is Born" is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. As of now, it has a 95% positive rating. If you know anything about this review sight, you know just how difficult this rating is to receive.

What more can I say? If you don't trust me, trust the tomatoes. Tomatoes don't lie. Simply put, "A Star is Born" is an incredible movie that you should 100% go see ASAP.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
