To my hero,

You are a blessing to my life. Now, I know what you're thinking..."my sister is so embarrassing" or "why does she have to be such a weirdo" but cmon bro, you know you love me. Seriously, hold the sass and listen up because I'm about to get serious.

I'm not sure if you know this or not, but I look up to you more than I look up to anyone else in the world. I strive to be someone who is as caring and as generous as you and honestly, you're pretty awesome. I know we fight and disagree (A LOT) but just know that I love you and respect you.

As we've gotten older, we haven't been spending as much time together and we don't have the kind of relationship we did when we were growing up but don't worry, nothing has changed. I still look up to you, I still care about what you think, and I still strive to be as incredible as you. The only difference now is, I miss you.

We have gone through so much together, we've shared laughs, tears, fears, and everything in between. I will never forget all the memories we have shared together from running around outside pretending the ground was lava, to eating Cinnamon Rolls on Christmas morning after opening all our presents. So many of my favorite memories were with you.

There are so many little things that you have done for me throughout the years that you that you may not even remember, but they had a huge impact on me and I will never forget them. These little things showed me how much you really cared and showed me that you would do anything for me. You would stand up for me without really realizing you were and you always made sure I was ok if I seemed off.

I know you might read this and just think about how annoying your little sister is (I'm sorry for that), but I just had to tell you. If it weren't for you, I may not be where I am today. You always push me to do my best and support me in everything I do, even the stuff you make fun of me for. I always took your thoughts into account when we were growing up and to this day, your opinion has a major influence on my decisions.

So, after all that, thank you. Thank you for being the best big brother a girl could ask for. While we may not be the closest siblings could be, I know that you will always be there for me and protect me. I can't wait to see where this life takes you and I hope you are living your best life. I miss you, I can't wait to see you, and I love you.

See ya soon big brother,

Your little sister

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
