A College Woman's Christmas Guidebook 2019

Disclaimer: This is just a fun Christmas wishlist, to help you pick out a gift for that special college girl in your life. My list will be trying to go from cheapest to most expensive!

& yes, I love Thanksgiving as well, I just know Black Friday is coming up, so you should be planning your shopping list soon!

Enjoy!!

AirPods Case

Yes, I am laughing as well. However, Airpods are becoming more and more popular and easy to afford since the newer versions have released. Therefore, if your girl has some AirPods, then a case would be a perfect fit. I know that I drop my AirPods constantly, and the charging case is not easy to replace, so be helpful and pick her up a cheap but good quality AirPods case on Amazon! ($5-$15)

Cook Book

This has been the most practical Christmas gift for ages! This will allow your college girl to learn a few recipes while learning to take care of herself! Also, it would be even better if you can find an affordable meals cookbook, because contrary to popular belief, most of us college students are still broke. ($10-$20)

Walmart, Barnes & Noble, TJ Maxx, or Ulta Gift Card

Gift cards are the best gift!!! You basically just received money to shop and get what you need from a store, without the struggle of returning and exchanging. So, Walmart is a good option for groceries, Barnes and Noble for textbooks next semester, TJ Maxx for clothes or apartment decor, or Ulta for makeup and self-care items! ($20-$40)

Sorority Sweatshirt

So, if your girl is not in a sorority, you do not have to skip this idea. You can also buy her favorite band, brand, tv show, or team sweatshirt, and she will love it! The more cozy and soft, the better. ($30)

Car Cleaning Supplies + Container

My dad every year gives me the quirkest car cleaning supplies he can find, just to gift it to me and tell me to clean my car. He is never wrong, and every Christmas, I am due for a good car wash. So, finding cheap car cleaning products from Walmart, along with a small/medium sized plastic tub to keep everything organized would work perfectly in a stressful college girls' world. ($10-$15)

Happy Planner

This planner is sweeping the nation. You can customize, refill and design things all on your own with Happy Planner. I know that it would be a perfect fit for the girl drowning in school work, while you are googling what to get her. ($20-$60)

"After" Books

So, if you have seen After a movie or your girl, you will need to get the books. I have found that most of my friends that have never read this, loved the movie, but did not find out until I made them read the books that it just could not repair. So, hopefully she will love them as well. Also, if she has just read the books on Wattpad, she will totally appreciate having the paper version to at least stare at. ($60) ($20 apiece)

Dainty Necklace

Jewelry is always a go-to when it comes to Christmas. Therefore, I had to add it. So, just try to find a nice dainty necklace fitted to your woman's personality. For example, I want across one! ($20-$70)

Aerie Leggings

DO NOT HATE ON ME WITH YOUR LULU'S. These are some of the most amazing leggings I have ever had in my life. They also have plenty of differents kinds of leggings depending on the occasion and weather. They have so many colors and I seriously want all of them. ($40)

I have to say it. Merry Christmas!!!

xoxo,

BP

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
