9 Go To Windows-Rolled-Down Songs For A Beautiful Day
Warren Bryan

It's that time of year again. The time of year where it's not too hot, not too cold. The sun is shining and there isn't a cloud in the sky. Window-rolling-down weather. These are the days where all of life feels like it is moving in your direction.

The special part about window-rolling-down weather is how it gets you into the frame of mind where you just want to shout to the heavens, "YES! TODAY IS MY DAY." You hop into your car and you are ready to go, you start to fly down the road, you turn on the radio and are feeling so good and then... your favorite song comes on.

You turn up that dial as high as it can go and you start jamming. You're belting out the chorus, messing up the verse, and just generally getting down. You're out there thinking you looking like this:

but really you look like this:

But it doesn't even matter because it's just that kind of day. Sometimes the radio doesn't come through on windows-rolled-down days though. We are only in the car for a little while. We have to make the most of this time. Here are 9 go to windows-down songs to make the most of these beautiful days while they are here.

1. "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus

Name me one person who doesn't like this song and I will tell you you're wrong. If it's good enough for the Bellas then it's good enough for everyone else. When that guitar kicks in... woof that person next to you better put their ear plugs in because it's about to get loud.

2. "Semi-Charmed Life" by Third Eye Blind

This is another one that kicks in right away and gets you ready to go. Upbeat and made for sunny days, this one is a classic with such a catchy beautiful day hook, "I want something ELSSSEEEE!!!!" So ready to jam.

3. "God's Plan" by Drake

Look, Drake is Drake, I get it, but by golly his songs are so darn catchy you just can't help but groove to them. You could replace God's Plan with just about any Drake song and I would be ready to go.

4. "Anything Could Happen" by Ellie Goulding

It's a beautiful day. The world is on your side. ANYTHING COULD HAPPEN! Life is coming your way and this song is the verbal expression of it. Let it fly!

5. "Feeling Good" by Michael Buble

This one has a little more build up. It doesn't kick in with that feel good guitar and hook right away, but there is something special about yelling, "I'M FEEEELING GOOOODD," at the top of your lungs once you hit the song's climax.

6. "Live Like You Were Dying" by Tim McGraw

Who knows how many more days like this you will have? This one is the quintessential belter. The car next to you might even end up singing too, who knows?

7. "It Was A Good Day" by Ice Cube

This one kicks in with such a good beat that it will take your good mood to the max. Kick back, relax, and let your verses flow as you cruise round the city streets with this tune.

8. "I'm Coming Out" by Diana Ross

Diana is letting the world know that she is coming out. She is ready to take the world by storm, and they better be ready. It's the same for you. Let 'em know.

9. "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder

It's your turn to do the head bob. Let the harmonica move through you and make the most of this great day!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
