Unlike other Florida mascots, UCF's Knightro is rogue-ish sleek, and sexy. He doesn't have leathery skin like UF's Albert the Alligator, or mean, dead black eyes like USF's Rocky the Bull. UCF is a body of prestige Knightro proudly represents. The one thing that really puts Knightro above the other Florida School mascots is the commitment historical accuracy and alarming attention-to-detail. He has parts something all ladies and armor lovers can appreciate. Here are the 9 best pieces of armor Knightro wears:
1. His Helmet
Of course, we start with the helmet. Just look into those eyes. Knightro is the definition of bad boy mystique. One wonders what kind of handsome face is hiding under there. A brooding, seductive gaze or a dashing smirk of sensual demure?
2. His Tassets
His tassets is the layered, metal skirt below his torso. It's not form-fitting, but it's such tease. Like his helmet, we're left wondering .. what exactly is he hiding under there?
3. His Cuisse
The cuisse is the armor that covers the upper thigh. This pieces clearly panders to the nostalgic audience. The zigzags remind my inner child of watching "The Simpsons" with my father when grew up. Plus, just look at those thighs. He's serving real Ashley Graham thickness.
4. His Plume
His regal, jet black fluuage is the reminiscent of a pegasus mane, UCF's second mascot? It evokes imagery of a "Dark Horse," a rogue underdog ready to usurp UF and UM as Florida's best football team. Knightro uses Mane 'n Tail Original Shampoo for strengthening and thickening to maintain it.
5. His Lifts
Yes, those lifts. These shiny, lace-up shoes add to Knitro's height, giving him more inches and gravitas. No medieval knight would wear this. It's a bold, risky break away from the formula that pays off.
6. His Breast Plate
An authentic replication of 14th century European medieval armor, where Knightro proudly displays the John Hitt's coat of arms, instead of his king's.
7. His Pauldrons
These pieces protect his shoulders. There's broad, brawny, and just plain flattering. This is where he carries the weight of being an of being an undefeated team. I'd like to see Albert or Osceola do that.
8. His Cape
This piece is purely decorative, but it amplifies his regality and bad boy mystique. It's truly unique, and no other Florida mascot has it. It billows behind him, like a sexy leather duster or Batman's cape.
9. His Sword
Not technically a piece of armor, but it's long, thick, big, and definitely the most symbolic. It represents UCF students and families penetrating barriers that hold them back, and it represents the edge UCF has over other Florida academic institutions.
