We've all been there, slowly slaving away at 11 pm, trying to break down that mountain of homework. You'll need to stay up for hours, and you'll be so tired in the morning. You groan as the due dates loom nearer as the seconds tick by. If you can focus for just three hours, maybe you can get it all done. You need to finish, and that's not up for debate.

Well, actually... You kind of have some time. You don't have that much work. There's still 7 hours before school starts, plus those super productive five minutes before class. You deserve a little break, a little Netflix-and-snack time. Yes, a break will make you even more productive in the end, right? Here are some shows to get you started:

1. The Handmaid's Tale (Hulu)

This acclaimed show is based on a book, depicting a future-dystopian society where "Handmaids" struggle to survive as surrogates for the elite upper class.

2. The Office (Netflix)

This laugh-out-loud sitcom is full of heart and nuance, perfect for a midnight pick-me-up.

3. Friends (Netflix)

Friends, following a group of six young New Yorkers, is light-hearted enough to cheer you up, but grounded enough to keep you watching.

4. The Good Wife (Amazon Prime and Hulu)

The Good Wife follows Alicia Florrick, the wife of a scandal-prone politician, as she pursues a new career. Her journey might inspire you to start your homework!

5. Grey's Anatomy (Netflix)

Grey's Anatomy is a heart-wrenching medical drama that you won't be able to stop watching.

6. Downton Abbey (Amazon Prime)

Downton Abbey is a historical period drama full of manipulation and -sass-. You'll be hooked by the second episode.

7. Veep (Amazon Prime)

Veep is an almost satirical drama of a woman's journey up the political ladder. It's funny and witty, perfect for waking up your brain.

8. Parks and Recreation (Netflix)

This hilarious comedy has no shortage of uplifting characters. Amy Poehler, the bubbly lead, will bring light to your dark homework desk.

Don't stay up too late, kids!

So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
