You know what I just despise. The fact that I have anything to complain about. I have so much going for me, yet I find something to block those good things out. So in the spirit of Thanksgiving here's 8 things most of us can be thankful for (if not all, who doesn't like horses).

1. Be thankful for family.

NO MATTER HOW MUCH THEY ANNOY YOU.

2. Be thankful for friends.

Because at the end of the day they're the ones you can't wait to see the next day. Five hours apart could not separate true friends.

3. Be thankful for a home and for nourishment.

If you have a home, be thankful. I wish we all had home but let's face it, some of us don't. So the next time you open up the door and your having a bad day, be thankful you have a place to lay your head and food to eat.

4. Be thankful for laughter.

5. Be thankful for a job.

EVEN IF IT REALLY, REALLY STINKS.

6. Be thankful for the freedoms you have.

I am so incredibly thankful to live in a country where I have the free will to do whatever I want! Do I feel like riding today or sleeping in? What should I wear today? It's the little things that we over look everyday.

7. Be thankful for your health.

I hope we're all in good health. I'm so thankful I've never had a broken bone or have been put up in the hospital for too long. I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't ride one day. True story.

8. Horses.

'Nough said.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
